Would YOU have approached her and tried to ask her out, or would her sheriff father been a little too overprotective for you? I'm sure the sheriff put the fear of God into poor Brady.

I don't know. Meeker's reputation is that he would pull out a shotgun if aliens landed, so if he said he'd use one on me if he thought I was groping his daughter, I think I'd take him seriously. Given how loose Kelly seemed to be, I imagine there were quite a few teens in Haddonfield that saw the promised land only to be blocked by her father

I'm sure he scared more than just Brady. Gotta credit Wade for trying though.
