Your taste in music
What kind of music do you like? Hip hop? Rap? Country music????
Personally, I like heavy metal. Always have, always will.
Here's the last question. It's been said that rock n roll is dead. Do you agree with that statement?

Grew up on punk and goth. Got into metal and grunge. Love a bit of rap but it has to be the good shit from the 90s/00s or something very special if it's modern. I get most excited by good post-hardcore bands like Fugazi and Quicksand.

im into death metal, thrash metal, gangsta rap, hardcore, punk rock, outlaw country (the real deal like DAC and none of that pop country crap)... Some early 90s rock (Alice in chains, soundgarden)
favorite bands currently? Deicide, Nashville Pussy, Exhorder, Misery Index, Chimaira, GG ALLIN and the murder junkies, Monstrosity, Mobb Depp, Big L, David Allan Coe, Pantera (that DAC pantera album rebel meets rebel is fire too), suicidal tendencies, Alice In chains, Necro, Ill Bill, Daath, Sepultura (OLD and NEW). Black Flag, Cro-Mags. Cypress Hill, Richie Rich, Method Man, Dark Throne, Mayhem, Satyricon.

Do you think Rock is dead? I've heard metal is now a thirty and over thing. I hope not. Metal is and always will be my preference.

Rock and metal will never die. Sometimes rock takes a detour from the mainstream and dips into the underground a bit. There are tons of great bands that dont get airplay but are out there. Gene simmons comment about rock being dead was pretty lame. He is clueless.

Re: Your taste in music
My favorites are classic rock and older country (like late 50s - the early 80's). AC/DC is my favorite band by a long shot, but I like a little bit of everything.
Depending on my mood, I've got mix CDs that go from Disturbed to Hank Williams to Little Richard to TLC to Chuck Berry to Pastor Troy.
As far as rock n roll being dead - it'll never happen. Back in Black came out more than 40 years ago and it's still in the top 5 best-selling albums of all time, as one example. But the classics are classics for a reason. They'll never go away.
