Question about part 5

Question about part 5
Tommy knew about Jason of course, and so did the mayor and Sheriff but no one else did....... On Tommy's medical report Matt said something along the lines of some maniac attacked Tommy and his family4
So why did it seem like no one knew about Jason except the mayor and the Sheriff?

It's normal in certain situations/circumstances when in Political power that some Town(s),City, or State(s) tries to either suppress or attempt to erase its bad history such as the Camp Blood Massarces I dubbed for Jason's rampage for his Original human trilogy.
They probably used the term Maniac on his report to avoid anymore acknowledgement about Jason Voorhees and his family or they used the term so no one knew to dig up Tommy's actual history with Jason kinda like a trigger word safety.

In Part 6 the sheriff said they wanted to forget the town was called Crystal Lake, so they went with Forest Green.

Re: Question about part 5
I wonder if the sheriff was in the Crystal Lake area when Jason struck before? Or was he newer to the area abut heard the story? What made the sheriff think it was Jason. Did he not believe Jason wasn't turned to ashes? Obviously I guess not
But also the mayor as well. Did he know about the story? or was he in the area

Correct!
Re: Question about part 5
Hello. Does anyone know the music for this part was written with or without an orchestra?

Hmmm best to ask Harry Manfredini about that but from the website by Waxwork Records says this:
Waxwork Records is beyond thrilled to announce FRIDAY THE 13TH PART V: A NEW BEGINNING Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Harry Manfredini. For the fifth soundtrack installment of the beloved slasher-horror franchise, the Friday The 13th crew reeled back in composer Harry Manfredini to score “A NEW BEGINNING” in 1985. Waxwork collaborated closely with composer Manfredini to release the complete and re-mastered original soundtrack which spans two 180 gram “Impostor Jason Splatter” vinyl records. Diehard horror fans, campers, and promiscuous summer camp counselors alike will appreciate this classic soundtrack featuring massive orchestral cues, giant stabs, and the classic “Ki, Ki, Ki… Ma, Ma, Ma” chant throughout!
Namely at "Featuring massive Orchestral Cues" as the nearest I can get.
