"This short film picks up almost 30 years after the events of New Nightmare and follows our lead Dylan Porter (Miko Hughes), the young son of Heather Langenkamp, now a grown man trying to make his way in the world his parents raised him in—Hollywood. Little does he know that the evil entity known as Freddy Krueger is back, and eager to once again break into our world through the son of his favorite victim! This project was conceived of and written by Cecil Laird, who has loved the horror genre ever since he was a child. Freddy Krueger has always been his favorite slasher, so when he was deciding what The Horror Show's next huge project should be, a sequel to Wes Craven's New Nightmare clawed its way into his head and just wouldn't leave! So the project began. Luckily, to ensure that this fan film is of the highest quality, we have enlisted the incredible help of Producer, Vincente DiSanti, the creative force behind Womp Stomp Films and the widely successful Friday the 13th fan film and its prequel, Never Hike Alone and Never Hike in the Snow. Additionally, we are lucky enough to have Nora Hewitt, the winner of season 9 of FaceOff, to head up our Special Make-Up Department and be FX Supervisor for the film!
And thats right! Miko Hughes is the same exact actor who played Dylan Porter from the Wes Craven's: New Nightmare film from 1994 which was released 28 years ago!
The Freddy Krueger actor is not Robert Englund but played by Dave McRae!
