why Jason wa sleft at bottom of lake after pt 6

I say



1) The cops were notified but figured he's chained to the bottom...let him be......because who would have believed it was Jason? This is the first movie(the 6th one) with Jason as a zombie. Who would believe them Jason came back from the dead?
2)Tommy knew no one would believe him so him and Megan went on the tun

I think Megan and Tommy went off the grid after part 6 and told the kids not to tell anyone about Jason and never come back to Camp Crystal Lake again….

if anyone was told About Jason being at the bottom of the Lake by the kids the Authorities definitely decided they weren’t going to do any kind of dredging or looking that’s for sure.

Its likely no one believed them and that there was another copycat out there, given that the kids are kids and that Tommy and Megan "Manipulated" them into saying what tbey said its properly given that no one believed a Serial Killer came back as a corpse.

Even more with this is that it might have been in the back of the minds of local divers and local legends chasers but again they didnt wanna risk it due to the massive history of killers.

Given the fact that the town of Forest Green have been trying to forget about Jason vorhees, it'd be easier to declare it an unsolved case and leave it at that

Exactly more than likely the kids told them that they were rescued by Tommy and Megan who more than likely hightailed it out of there before the cops regrouped and investigated the incident…..the town wouldn’t spend any more money needed to dredge the Lake or investigate anything more than it being an unsolved murders investigation…. Something definitely not unusual at Camp Crystal Lake and now Forrest Green.
