I’m glad The New Blood is doing well in the poll. It’s not a bad movie and I have fun watching it. I’d put The New Blood in my top five.

I voted for part 3, but part 4 is also my favourite. My third favorite is part 7 just for Jason's design alone. If the kills weren't butchered by censorship, it would probably be my second favourite film.

Same here.
It also has the ultimate recap of the Franchise in the beginning!! Absolutely my favorite build up for the slaughter to come.

That's why I made it a Multiple Voting poll for the more accurate statistics.

Kane Hodder as Jason changed the series forever! his performance was amazing! he didn't want stunt doubles which is how it should be for Jason!

Part 2..
It's the most realistic film in the franchise.
I also prefer Jason wearing the sack over the mask. It's creepier.

Re: Favorite Friday the 13th Movie?
Its hard to top the first 2 movies 10/10 Equally to me. Best atmospheres, Best story and acting and best lead actors and supporting actors IMO. . . Brooker was my favorite Jason but I thought the first 2 were just perfect. After Part 4 they got pretty silly and over the top. Though I will admit Jason Takes Manhattan and Jason Goes to Hell are guilty pleasure. Im still waiting for that Jason Goes to Hell documentary to come out. I did like the concept after so many movies of Jason finally leaving camp crystal lake but it just wasn't executed very well

I'll probably be in a minority here, but I have to go with the remake. It just has the right amount of everything and has a great new feel to it.

I'm definitely a fan of the Remake as well being the minority sometimes isn't that bad!
Re: Favorite Friday the 13th Movie?
While I don't think we ever got a better Jason than we did in The New Blood, my personal favorite is Jason Lives.
I might be biased because it's the horror movie I ever saw and I was very young, but I think it still holds up. The filmmakers and C.J. Graham did a great job at giving Jason some personality and inserting some humor where the series had really been lacking it before in my opinion.
My personal favorite bits are after Jason stabs Lizbeth with the fence rod, the camera focuses on the American Express card floating in the puddle as if to say, "Don't leave home without it," and then when Roy shoots Jason with a paintball gun and Jason just stops in his tracks and looks down at his chest like he can't believe someone just shot him with a paintball.
All the films have their high points. even the remake (which I'm not a fan of) has a couple of moments for me, but Jason Lives is the most consistent, I think, and I always have a good time when I watch it.
