Absolutely there could be.

I wonder what Tommy's reaction when he told the police Jason was at bottom of lake and they were like "well ummm we will just keep him down there, have a good night!"

In the comic books from Wildstorm they go into some History about Crystal Lake and how many people have died/ drowned which are many…..and that the campsite used to be an old Indian burial ground…..giving it a very cool supernatural tone to the area.

For that matter it makes you wonder if there bodies in any lake you've gone swimming in, either murdered or accidental. It's a chilling concept to be swimming and going underwater for a moment, only to come face to face with a corpse. I remember reading about how someone dropped a statue of Jason vorhees in the middle of a recreational dive lake and didn't mention it until someone came across it by chance. I can safely say if either ever happened to me, I would definitely need a change of clean underwear.

It could be! because the Camp was existing there in the mid-1930s so anything before could and can be seen for many unnamed accidents, murders, or other such things.

Could there be native Americans? civil soldiers? missing people? missing kids? the possibilities can be high!
