Interesting things i have learned

I have been listening to The Halloweenies Podcast and they did some Friday the 13th reviews

I have listened ot the firts 5

Here's some interesting thing I have learned

Pamela Voorhees was not names Pamela till #4---I 'm so use to knowing she was the killer in pt 1, I forget she wasn't named Pamela till pt 4

Adrianne King had to deal with a stalker after pt 1

Walt Gorney who played Crazy Ralph narrated part 7

Ned was originally suppose to have polio

they wanted to bring back Ginny back for pt 3 and have the film take place in a mental institute

Ali was suppose to survive

filmmakers wanted a notion that Roy was possessed by Jason

Opening scene in pt 5 was filmed in Cory Feldman's back yard

All very cool tidbits!!

A fact which is proven as she was simply known as Mrs.Voorhees.

I wouldn't say filmmakers but the specific part 5 director/writers for this film.

Have ya'll watched the Crystal Lake Memories documentary or read the book. TONS of interesting stuff in both of them.

I have both documentaries Crystal Lake Memories and His Name Was Jason I truly enjoyed both!!
I am super looking forward to Hearts of Darkness a Documentary about Jason Goes to Hell…. That is still in production and will possibly be released by the end of the year.

I still need to pick up the Book Crystal Lake Memories.

something I remember hearing was that the actress who played Sondra in part 2 almost had a role in another Friday movie.

Oh I think you meant Marta Kober who played Sandra Dier and that's true She tried to be in a new Friday the 13th film but when they found out they fired her on the spot from the set.

Agreed! and I believe there was another F13 Alumi who tried to get on a new F13 film but I forget who but Marta Kober is the biggest well-known example of trying to become more famous lol.

I think they also edited her death scene quite severely.
