Hell Fest 2018
This movie came out in 2018, close to Halloween. The movie centers on a group of friends who go to an extreme haunted house called Hell Fest. This is the kind of place where the actors come out and use chainsaws and follow you around and basically get in your face more than other places.
The catch is this place has been going around to different places and has gotten the attention of a guy the credits call " The Other". This guy shows up follows certain people around and, well, let's just say some of the props aren't props when this guy is done. Those props are real people. The movie has a pretty good twist at the end.
Did anyone see this? How did you like it?

Re: Hell Fest 2018
My wife and I actually saw it in theaters. She was really excited for it, since she'd had a similar idea forever and wanted to see a horror movie with an actual killer running loose in a Haunted Attraction whose definitely not part of the cast. This was as close as we ever got to that. A decent movie that wasn't terrible, but nothing particularly memorable about it either which is why I'm having trouble remembering much about it except for that Tony Todd was awesome, the concept was cool, and the ending... My wife didn't like the ending, but I did since I could appreciate what they were trying to do with it. Sometimes the scariest monsters are the ones that can hide in plain sight because they look like everybody else.

Re: Hell Fest 2018
The rating for the film is accurate 5.5/10...I watched it and nothing was really different it was sadly a generic slasher flick that brought nothing new to the genre.
It didnt bring me new scares.
It didnt bring unexplored tropes.

I bought the DVD and watched it. The plot
Is a good one and makes you think everytime you go into a haunted attraction and the ending made you raise an eyebrow. Not a shocker as the ending to Saw but not bad
