Was Pamela Voorhees wrong?

Hello everyone! this is an open poll and open debate base discussion about whether or not the Mother of Jason Voorhees herself, Pamela Voorhees aka Mrs.Voorhees from the Friday the 13th Universe was wrong in her efforts to avenge her son.
Mrs.Voorhees wanted to keep Camp Crystal Lake permanently closed down, due to the presumed loss of her only son, Jason Voorhees the future serial slasher of the campgrounds.

Note: She DID not know Jason was still alive! hence I stated presumably!

• Murdered numerous counselors. (Confirmed 9 or 10 Victims)
  
• Poisioning numerous water supplies.
  
• Causing fires around the campgrounds.
  
• Sabotaging multiple buildings/areas of the campgrounds.
  

Don't be scared to jump in! I encourage any and all fans from the Friday Community or the general horror community to voice their opinions here! we want this place to be a safe and promoting haven for all fans!

Of course she's wrong, there's never a justifiable excuse to commit murder... It's also just a movie, a horror movie at that, so who gives a damn about right or wrong! Be as bad as you wana be Mrs. Voorhees!

A mother's grief is a powerful thing. It does not excuse her actions but it does give a reasonable explanation

I see some mixed answers.

I'd have to say that she was in the wrong, however if she only stopped at the two counselors I'd be able to say otherwise.

If Barry and Claudette were the ones making out when Jason drowned, you might be able to excuse that one. However, everyone else she killed was innocent. She was definitely in the wrong but as Harry Manfredini so succinctly pointed out, "She's crazy, she knows she's crazy, and she doesn't care."
