Is Jason aware of his appearance?

Seeing how angry Jason gets when hie loses his mask, does he seem aware of how he looks?

He definitely seem to realize it in part 3, when he lifts up his mask and sneers at Chris like he knows he's a freaky looking SOB. Once in Undead mode after Part 6, I imagine he always looks that pissed, mask on or not.

Yeah I think from a Young age Jason always knew he looked different and that his looks shocked or frightened others….. his Mother being the only exception…. And as he got older and more let’s just say…Dead-er… he really never wants to show his face… look at part 7-9 he looks quite Pissed when Tina snaps his mask in half and in Part 8 uses his Grotesque features to scare away the thugs… it part 9 his skin has grown over it with how long he keeps it covered up.

I would say he is definitely aware of how scary looking he is. I think of the time he terrorized the little girl in Part 6, even though he didn't harm any of the kids. So yes, he knows he's gruesome

In his defense I dont think he WANTED to scare her like that it seems he was staring at her out of curiosity.

Yeah you have to wonder what he's thinking about when he looks at the kids
