I found them to be more comedic but kinda wish they explored if what the mayor said was true or not but since Mayor said he was dead they didnt look for themselves.

I loved them. And I found it funny that the ONE time they believed Jason was the killer was the one time he wasn't.

Even still with Part V it helped cause disbelief making it all look like a campfire story that it was just imposters and such.
