We saw the tow truck prank at the start of Part 2. In part 3, Shelley failed at an attempted prank. Ned was a joker in the original.

Would you have liked the pranks to continue, especially if they were setups for later kills in the movies? I hope I'm not missing other pranks, but maybe we can continue with the spirit of the post.

Wasn't there a prank in the 6th one where a girl was gonna pour a bucket of water on the one of the guys but Jason popped up and grabbed her?

One of the girls pours her coke can out there window and then Jason pops up and grabs her I think.

There's a prank in just about every movie which allows Jason to continue killing because the characters think it's pranks being played and let's their guard down. It's as much as a part of Friday the 13th as the machete
