How bad was the Jason teleporting?
Seeing him in part 8 was just so bad, the teleporting.
It just makes look Jason super unbeatable. I likes some realism with him stalking not just appearing out of thin air

But he is a undead supernatural serial killer lol you think the directors care for any realism at this point for Friday the 13th?
Re: How bad was the Jason teleporting?
Yeah part 8 has a very supernatural/Ghostly presence about him.......his one minute there the next gone and vice versa was out of control in Jason Takes Manhattan....... but not a bad as the timeline issues and Rennie’s Hallucinations.....I can believe an undead killer can bounce around more that Her seeing Jason as a little boy in the Lake.....or at the End in the sewers.

People try to explain that the character was "High" but I doubt it she was from one hit.

Yeah, I doubt one hit could explain that kind of teleportation..... plus he does it through out the movie not just on the drugged out characters
Lol

Agreed! I love film theorist for trying to explain from a "Logical" perspective but it from what we see in the films and in the movie you cant simply explain Jason just running and then walking to Point A to Point B.
Re: How bad was the Jason teleporting?
If they wanted to explain the teleportation for Kelly Hu’s character, I wouldn’t go with the excuse that she was high. I’d rather say it was she was confused by the lights in the dance room and spinning around so it seemed to her like Jason was everywhere. Her head was spinning from the lights and maybe the swaying of the boat too so maybe that had her head all messed up. Remember, they were in the middle of a storm so maybe the swaying of the boat had her head swimming.
If anyone does want to include the drugs, then you could say that combined with the hit she had taken earlier combined to make her think he’s all around her. That way you can have the drugs she did earlier, even with a small hit like that, playing somewhat of a role in it.

I agree with the disoriented theory. She was probably in the worst space on the ship that would get her all confused. As far as the moron who climbed the mast to escape, he was so panicked that he lost track of time until Jason caught up to him and made him do a Peter Pan off the mast. And since Jason pretty much doesn't bother with doorknobs, it's easy to imagine he will find shortcuts through New York to catch up to Rennie. Cheers and game on, my friends

Exactly SonofOdin6039. Those lights would be enough to disorientate her. I was watching a lost media video yesterday and they brought up how the ep of Pokemon with the flashing lights gave all those kids medical issues back in the day. If that was enough to give those kids problems, then those lights in the room, her spinning and the boat rocking around could do a pretty good job in knocking her for a loop. It’s not the same as the Pokemon ep, but I just mean that the lights would be very inconvenient and disorientating to her.
