The Punisher as a movie franchise

I've always wished that The Punisher could be made into a movie franchise.
I liked the Thomas Jane version the best, and a sequel fell through on that one.
I disliked the Dolph Lungren version.
The Ray Stevenson version was okay, but the outfit was goofy looking.
What are YOUR thoughts?

Seen only the 2004 version. Loved it, would rewatch it anytime.

I didn't know Dolph Lungren played Punisher...so I got to watch that and so far for me?
Thomas Jane and Jon Bernthal are my favorites as the character.
Ray Stevenson (R.I.P) was ok for me...I wasn't at all hooked no offense the man is an amazing actor but just not my Punisher.
