Even thought pt 6 takes place in the summer time it FEELS like it's actually in fall which I LOVE.

It gives a different feeling and man I feel like it makes it scarier in a way

I never saw part 6 as scary. Campy, but not really scary. Except for when Jason is looking through the cabin window watching Sissy(?) as she walks.

Jason Lives always had a Dark Humor/Horror aspect which I love, C.J. Graham Jason (No offense to Dan Bradley) will always be the Terminator Jason.

C.J. Graham Jason will always be iconic, the Opening Scene, the car scene, the bottle scene, and the stalking of Crystal lake is iconic, I wish we could have seen more of it!

CJ really set the tone for how to play Jason.

I believe they all did their own How to Play, Steve was the more Clumsy Jason, Richard was the more quick but sadistic Jason, Ted was the more brutal Jason, C.J. was the Terminator Jason, and Kane, especially Kane since he played Jason the most, he basically set the whole consistency with Jason, he is by Ted Whites own words "The Definitive Jason"

And Ted White knew his stuff.

Always enjoyed Part 6; watched them all in succession to celebrate this Halloween season and had a newfound appreciation for it. The more I watch it, the more I truly appreciate what director Tom McLoughlin did- not only did he insert many clever and fun winks and nods to the audience, but he used experienced, adult actors (i.e. the paintball war games characters) who delivered top notch performances. And things that seem like they wouldn't go together, like the bouncy, comedic music theme playing when Jason is chasing the last war game character ("he's gonna kill me!!!"); on paper it shouldn't work, but the lighter/funny elements are quality and somehow Jason is just true Jason and they come together beautifully (imho). And even the younger actors, like Cort- the scripting and his performance- like when he's kneeling down talking to kids in the woods- hilarious- and the closer he gets to Jason's attack, the more of a jerk his character is which just makes the audience want him to get off'd that much more. Tom McLoughlin did an incredible job bringing new life, quality humor and fun but keeping enough of the Friday/horror aspects.
