I'm casting my vote for Melissa's death in Part 7. Her face when she opens the door, that awesome shot of Jason in the doorway, the slow wind up before planting that axe in Melissa's head, and the way he throws her across the room just comes together PERFECTLY. I'd say it's the one kill that didn't suffer from the cut.

Part 7 had alot of amazing especially the sleeping bag but Melissa getting a whack to the face when she is suppose to be the pretty girl is the ultimate form of Karma! I loved it! Kane did amazing for his work as Jason!

The Sleeping Bag Kill would easily be my favorite if it hadn't been edited to hell. Same thing with the heart punch from P6. Joe Bob said it best when he complained that after TBS got a hold of the film, poor Horseshack looks like he's getting pushed to death. I'd love to have seen how some of these movies would've turned out if the censors weren't such pearl clutchers in the 80's.
I have to do a write-in for the harpoon kill in P3. First on-screen kill by Jason in the mask, so it's iconic just for that alone. This isn't my favorite kill, but the bathroom kill in Part 1 will always stand out to me. Can't remember the poor girls name, but the acting and reaction was so horrible, my wife and I can't help but laugh every time we watch it. Don't think that's what they were going for, but it's so bad it's become a can't miss scene for us.

Oh trust me the MPAA were some bastards for this back in the day, they had to censored the hell out of Part 7 and it was truly unfair and truly a disappointment to have to deal with censorship like that in a HORROR FILM.
The Sleeping Bag both in the original and in the final cut are both my favorites.
1. The multiple hit to the Three looked so badass, and Graphic! The blood looked amazing! The way Kane looked under full make-up and how frustrated he looked without make up was truly amazing.
2. The one but to me just makes Jason look so much more powerful than the Multiple, because he is a Revenant Zombie, and their strength is greater than humans so it would make sense.
If there is any other kill in my opinion that was amazing without Blood/Guts being the main description would have to be Sheriff Garris, when Part 6 Jason bends him back, it was just so realistic to see brute strength from a undead killer like that.

Now that I think about it, the harpoon kill in 4 was pretty good too.

Same here!!
I actually lean pretty heavily to the ones that try new or different things with the mythology or characters.

Sleeping bag kill was just amazingly done, along with the bending of Sheriff Garrison!
