The director of Godzilla Vs Kong himself Adam Wingard had admitted in a Reddit Post about his Horror Reference with the King of Skull Island King Kong:
As many know Adam Wingard is a horror fan as he had debut horror genre-based films so when rewatching and seeing the Nozuki Vs Kong scene will have a more recognizable scene for Horror/F13 Fans and that it came from one of Kane Hodders best/the last role as Jason Voorhees.
